Clergy 211 ministers are highly educated and experienced professionals who provide spiritual support and guidance to our clients during celebratory and painful moments in life. We are a non-judgment organization, which is built around the philosophy of being what we hope the world will some day become. We are eager to serve people from all walks of life, regardless of race, creed, belief or non belief, ethnicity, sexual orientation, sexual identity, color, religious and political affiliation or non-affiliation, or worldview.
Because we are aware that there are many individuals, couples, and families in our communities, who for various reasons do not actively attend or are affiliated with a religious institution, we have found it necessary to offer our services.
While many Protestant churches and Catholic parishes will not officiate non-member rites of passage unless certain conditions are met, we at Clergy 211 do not have such restrictions. The ministers of Clergy 211 do not discriminate against any member of society. We believe that rites and ceremony belong to all people and that all people have the right to have their special or solemn occasion observed.
Our service is built on these values:
Our clergy come from many persuasions and perspectives and are as diverse as the world we live in today. Some have been former ministers in a mainline denomination, but who may have retired, shifted in their beliefs, or moved away from the tenets of a particular denomination or group. Some are Atheist, Agnostic, or Humanist. Some are Pagan, or earth focused, some Native American, Spiritualists, devout Christians, Buddhists, Hindu, or from other faith traditions.
What our ministers have in common is the understanding that all people deserve the best service on the special occasions of life and are trained to meet the very specific and diverse needs of the general populace, using a multiplicity of religious and non-religious languages.
We pride ourselves in meeting individuals and families where they are, never imposing a particular theology, philosophy, or ideology upon those we serve.
